A significant element of our work is focused on supporting capital projects, providing funding for buildings and infrastructure at leading institutions of higher education that, like us, see education as the catalyst for greater mutual understanding between the peoples of the Middle East and wider world.

We have made a number of capital grants to UK Universities.  These include grants to Corpus Christi College, Oxford, which resulted in the first new building on the site for 300 years, to the University of Westminster’s recent refurbishment of its historic building on Regent Street and to the London Middle East Institute at SOAS, enabling its move to the MBI Al Jaber Building on Russell Square.
