MBI Al Jaber Foundation Scholarships at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, France
A scholarship programme for students at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level has been set up at the Institute of Peace and Development Law (ISPD), part of the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis.
The programme was announced by Foundation Chairman Sheikh Mohamed Bin Issa Al Jaber during his address to an inauguration ceremony for Postgraduates at Nice Sophia Antipolis University, France in 2005.
The programme is under the auspices of Professor Philippe Saunier, Director of the IDPD, and is open to outstanding students from the Arab world, in particular the Francophone countries of North Africa, for whom study in France is a more suitable option than the UK, and complements the MBI Al Jaber Foundation’s existing scholarship programmes.
The first year intake includes a number of students from Mauritania – our first students from this country, and this will mean that our Alumni body stretches all the way from the Mauritania to Iraq, and from Syria to Yemen!
