MBI Alumni News: Mohamed Yehia Ahmed Shares His Expertise in a Talk at the University of Surrey
MBI Al Jaber Foundation alumnus, Dr Mohammed Yehia Ahmed, gave a Guest Lecture talking about digital channels. He presented the best practice cases of tourism suppliers using for instance 360 Degree, Google Earth and innovative videos.
Mohamed Yehia Ahmed was awarded an MBI Al Jaber Foundation scholarship and graduated in 2010 from the MODUL University, Vienna where he gained a BA degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management. He was Assistant Director of Public Relations at the Egyptian Tourism Authority where he was responsible for organising formal visits, conferences and media sessions – like the UNWTO conference in Egypt. Later, he was appointed cabinet member for the Ministry of Tourism, responsible for giving advice and new ideas, market research and marketing strategy. He is currently the Egyptian State Tourism Office Deputy Director UK, Ireland, Nordic, US, Canada, and Latin America.
