MBI Al Jaber Foundation Signs Collaborative Partnership Agreement with the European Institute of Peace

H.E. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Issa Al Jaber today signed a collaborative agreement with the European Institute of Peace, a Brussels-based public interest foundation focusing on peace building and conflict resolution.

The purpose of the agreement is to establish a collaborative partnership between European Institute of Peace and the MBI Al Jaber Foundation to undertake projects focused on peacebuilding, youth empowerment, and education, including fellowships and apprenticeships in Iraq, Yemen, Libya, and Sudan and elsewhere.

Projects and activities within the scope of the agreement will include initiatives aimed at promoting peace and reconciliation in conflict-affected areas; programmes to support the development of youth through training, workshops, and advocacy; and educational programmes, including fellowships and apprenticeships designed to enhance skills and knowledge among target populations.

Sheikh Mohamed, founder, patron and chairman of the MBI Al Jaber Foundation said “It is my pleasure to announce this partnership with the European Institute of Peace, an organisation with which our Foundation has much in common. Through the work of the MBI Al Jaber Foundation, and also personally, for more than 25 years I have championed the importance of inclusive dialogue as the best route to peace, and our education programmes have shown that individuals can, and do, make a difference. The European Institute of Peace has great experience in working on these vital issues, and we are very happy to have this partnership with them”
